Installation of APK files :
You can use APK files to install the LiNA Connect and LiNA Touch apps on your Android tablet/smartphone without the Google Play Store.
However, we recommend that you always install the latest version directly from the App Store. Selecting the "Download for Android" button will take you directly to the latest available version in the Google Play Store.
If your device may not be supported, you can install the apps with the APK files, but remember that this is at your own risk.
To be able to install APK files on Android, you must adjust the security settings on your device. To do this, open the settings on your device. Under "General", search for "Security" and open it. Now search for the option "Unknown origin" (or "Unknown sources") and activate it. For newer Android versions, you must select the desired source via "More security settings" and "Install unknown apps".
You can now install apps (APK files) that do not come from the Play Store. After installation, we recommend cancelling the release of the source.
Note: If you want to install an update for the externally installed APK file, this does not work automatically. You must download and install the update manually.
